Field Service Representative

Excalibur Lab Specialists Inc., a Global Supplier to the Diagnostic Industry, is seeking a Field Service Representative to work on lab diagnostics analyzers, Lab automation equipment and related products. We have are expanding across the United States.

To qualify, you must have a minimum of an Associate Degree in Electronic Technology / Engineering, or military electronics experience with two years experience as a field service engineer or in the field of computers, Bio Medical or automated control systems. Medical or Laboratory Service background would be a plus but not needed. Knowledge of electro mechanical, pneumatic and fluidities troubleshooting, computer operation and inventory control are required. The ability to interpret schematics, tubing and assembly drawings and performing system and board level troubleshooting with minimal supervision. To be familiar with various test equipment and proficient with computers and related software packages that includes Microsoft Office. Good verbal communication skills, organizational skills, problem solving and decision making are also required.

After the training program you will be responsible for ensuring and maintaining customer satisfaction, installing, training, servicing, maintaining diagnostic analyzers and related products. You will be required to travel in a specified territory, communicate directly with customers, other field representatives, managers and our sales force. A good driving record and a credit card for travel expenses are required. You will provide emergency service, installs, training, preventive maintenance and decons on laboratory instrumentation in a stated area and the surrounding states, within Excalibur Lab Specialists/DCI company guidelines and procedures. Have the capability of faxing documents and receiving and sending e-mails. Travel and overnights are required.

This position may require occasional lifting of equipment up to 100 pounds. Standing for long periods of time is necessary when training or working.
